A play off the word "market," "Markit" merges the word "mark" with "it" (your brand), indicating your brand is being marked and set apart through good advertising. For the logo, a quote box, representing communication, and two sheets of paper, representing printed communication, are combined with the word "it" inside them, indicating that "it" (the brand) is being communicated about and marketed.
